Positive Parky People – PPP

This programme has been developed for individuals who have recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease or those with mild symptoms. It is a circuit based class which requires a lot of effort to carry out meaningful exercise. You will be challenged physically and mentally but its great fun and you will get functional improvements.

This programme is not suitable for everyone, participants must have an assessment before starting the programme.

Positive Parky People – Gentle Moves

This class is specifically for individuals living with Parkinson’s who are affected by loss of balance and slowness of movement and are at risk of falling.

You will benefit from exercises to strengthen your muscles and improve your balance.

Elements from the main PPP programme will also be used to address the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

OTAGO – Strength & Balance

OTAGO is a clinically proven exercise programme to strengthen leg muscles and balance training. It has been developed to prevent falls. This programme is recognised and recommended by health professionals.

This programme is ideal for anyone who has either fallen of at risk of falling or those wishing to improve their general health.
